A superb knock from India’s & Daredevils brightest young batting talent, Shreyas Iyer, helped Delhi get over the line in a thriller in Kanpur. Chasing a formidable 196 for victory, DD lost early wickets and looked in real trouble, before Iyer stabilized the ship with a splendid 96 from 57. This gave Delhi a huge foothold in the game, and although they wobbled having lost Iyer and others as the match drew to a close, Amit Mishra was able to guide DD to victory by dispatching back to back boundaries in the final over of the game.
