Michael Slater Replaced by Jonty Rhodes In PSL4

Michael Slater an Australian television presenter and a former Australian Cricketer, who joined the PSL season three commentator panel in 2013, will not be the part of panel this season; the reasons are personal and undisclosed yet. Michael Slater has been Replaced by Jonty Rhodes in PSL4.

Jonty Rhodes is known to be cricketing legend as one of the greatest fielders ever. One of the examples for his great fielding was Inzama-ul-Haq run out in 1992 world cup in Brisbane, Australia. [Watch video]

“I have fond memories of my various tours to Pakistan, so you can imagine how thrilled I am to be heading out to UAE and Pakistan for PSL 2019 as part of a fantastic commentary team. Having played and coached there during my career, I know how much exciting talent the country holds and I look forward to giving my take on the competition and the players on show.” Said Jonty Rhodes, while sharing the feelings for being selected in Pakistan Super league season four (PSL4) Commentator panel.

Rhodes joined Standard Bank of South Africa after his retirement from cricket. After his retirement he remained involved in different cricketing career including coaching, commentating, broadcasting etc. Jonty is currently on boarded with Mumbai Indian as their fielding coach. Mumbai Indian is an IPL team.
Rhodes will likely join the PSL Commentator panel on 21st February in Sharjah, and will remain with the panel till the end of PSL4.

Pakistan Super League Season four will be staring from tomorrow 14th Feb 2019 with a glitzy opening ceremony after which the first match of PSL-4 between Lahore Qalandars and the defending Champions Islamabad United will be played in Dubai International Cricket Stadium , Dubai.
