Shoaib Malik Early Life

Shoaib Malik was born on February 1, 1982, in Sialkot, Punjab, Pakistan, into a Kakazai Pashtun family. He grew up playing tape ball cricket in the streets of Sialkot, and despite being scolded for not focusing on his education, he knew from a young age that he wanted to pursue a career in cricket. When he was 11 years old, he joined the coaching center of legendary cricketer Imran Khan, and in 1996, he played in the Lombard Under-15 Challenge, where he was selected for the U-15 squad for his bowling. Shoaib Malik’s passion and dedication to cricket paid off as he continued to excel and eventually make his debut in international cricket.

Shoaib Malik is a renowned Pakistani cricketer who made his One-Day International debut in 1999 against the West Indies and his Test debut in 2001 against Bangladesh.
