Hungary Tour of Czech Republic 2023: Czech Republic win the series 3-0

The Hungary Tour of Czech Republic 2023 Series concluded today with the Czech Republic finding two wins today to book the series in their name with a 3-0 series win.

In the first match of the series that took place on 10 June 2023, the Czech Republic made 128 runs for the loss of 10 wickets in 19.4 overs. Dylan Steyn and Paaras Khari made the most 28 runs each for the team. Abishek Kheterpal, Bhavani Adapaka and Zeeshan Kukikhel took three wickets each for Hungary with Abhitesh Prashar taking a wicket.

Hungary made 119 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs in the second inning of the match with Vinoth Ravindran making the most 26 runs in 24 deliveries. Arun Ashokan took two wickets for the Czech Republic in the match with Rahat Ali, Riaz Afridi, Naveed Ahmed, Sazib Bhuiyan and Ritik Tomar taking a wicket each.

In the second match of the series played on 11 June 2023, the Czech Republic made 169 runs for the loss of four wickets in the first inning with Sabawoon Davizi making the most 50 runs in 36 deliveries. Zeeshan Kukikhel took two wickets for Hungary with Sandeep Mohandas and Abishek Kheterpal taking a wicket each.

Hungary made 169 runs for the loss of 10 wickets in 19.3 overs in the second inning of the match with Abhishek Ahuja making the most 48 runs for the team in the match. Sazib Bhuiyan took three wickets for the Czech Republic in the match with Arun Ashokan, Naveed Ahmed and Venkatesh Marghashayam taking 2, 2 and 1 wickets respectively.

After the match got tied, the match went into the one-over eliminator where the Czech Republic won the match after chasing 7 runs of the target set by Hungary.

In the third match of the series played on 11 June 2023, Hungary made 138 runs for the loss of 10 wickets in 19.5 overs with Abishek Kheterpal making the most 36 runs for the team. Abul Farhad took four wickets for the Czech Republic in the match with Arun Ashokan and Sazib Bhuiyan taking two wickets each. Neeraj Tyagi and Sudesh Wickramasekara took a wicket each to join the wicket-taking party.

The Czech Republic made 139 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 18.1 overs in the second inning of the match with Sudesh Wickramasekara making the most 65 runs for the team in the match. Ali Yalmaz took three wickets for Hungary in the match with Bhavani Adapaka, Sandeep Mohandas and Abhitesh Prashar taking a wicket each.

The Czech Republic won all three matches of the bilateral series to win the series 3-0.
