Khurram Manzoor, a former Pakistan cricketer, has shared his thoughts on the comparison between the Indian Premier League (IPL) and the Pakistan Super League (PSL). He believes that it is not fair to compare the two leagues as the financial investment in players is vastly different.

In terms of player cost, Khurram pointed out that Quetta Gladiators was sold for PKR 8 Cr in the first season of PSL while Sam Curran alone cost Punjab Kings INR 18 Cr, equivalent to PKR 50 Cr in the IPL. He argued that this significant difference in player cost greatly impacts the level of competition and overall quality of the league.

Khurram also highlighted the superior quality of cricket in the PSL compared to the IPL. He mentioned that every team in the PSL has four bowlers who can bowl at 90 MPH, while in the IPL, there is hardly one bowler per team who can clock at 90 MPH. He believes that this difference in bowling speed adds to the overall excitement and challenge of the league.

Another aspect that Khurram believes sets the PSL apart from the IPL is the size of the boundaries. He stated that the boundaries in the PSL are 75m while in the IPL, they are 60m. He believes that this difference in size makes the PSL a more challenging league for players and adds to the excitement for fans.

In addition to the size of the boundaries, Khurram also mentioned that the PSL pitches have more variety than the IPL. He believes that this added variety in pitches makes the PSL a more challenging and exciting league for players and fans alike.

In conclusion, Khurram Manzoor believes that the PSL and IPL cannot be compared as the financial investment in players and overall quality of the league are vastly different. He highlighted the superior quality of cricket, larger boundaries, and more varied pitches in the PSL as factors that make the league more challenging and exciting for players and fans.
