Mumbai Indians Women dominate Delhi Capitals Women to win the match

The seventh match of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) concluded with Mumbai Indians Women finding an 8-wicket win over the team Delhi Capitals Women as they chased the target of 106 runs in 15 overs.

Delhi Capitals Women had won the toss of the game and elected to bat first.

Batting first, DC Women were all-out at 105 runs with Meg Lanning scoring the most 43 runs off 41 deliveries for the team.

Saika Ishaque, Issy Wong and Hayley Matthews took three wickets each for Mumbai Indians Women in the match. Pooja Vastrakar also took a wicket for the team in the match. Mumbai Indians Women conceded 7 extras to Delhi Capitals Women while bowling.

Yastika Bhati made 41(32) for Mumbai Indians Women while opening the chase for the team with Hayley Matthews, another opener, making 32(31) for the team in the chase. Nat Sciver-Brunt and Harmanpreet Kaur made 23*(19) and 11*(8) for the team to complete the chase in 15 overs.

After the win, Mumbai Indians are at the top of the table with 6 points followed by Delhi Capitals with 4 points.
