PAK vs Eng: Brook and Duckett helped England thrash Pakistan

The hosts, England took advantage and posted a mammoth 221 runs on the scoreboard. Duckett and Brook shined with the bat, scoring 70 and 81 runs, respectively. Hasnain took a wicket alongside Usman’s two wickets. Shahnawaz Dahani got one of the bad days of his career. The right-arm pacer conceded 62 runs in his four overs, second-most by any Pakistan batter in the shorter format. 

Pakistan openers, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan were sent back to the pavilion after scoring eight runs each off Wood and Topley, respectively. Meanwhile, Shan Masood, who received his maiden T20I call-up for the England series, was the lone fighter as he smashed 61 runs in 39 balls. Wood claimed three wickets and gave away 25 runs, while Topley bagged one wicket and gave away only 22 runs. Apart from the two, Adil Rashid and Sam Curran took two wickets each.
