Preview: Pakistan Super League 2019, Match 16, Islamabad United vs Multan Sultans

Multan Sultans will be looking to avoid a fourth straight defeat in the Pakistan Super League as the action returns to Dubai’s International Cricket Stadium when they face Islamabad United.

The match is scheduled for February 26, and the live action begins at 21:00 local time.

  • Multan Sultans beat Islamabad United when they last met – also in Dubai – despite Luke Ronchi hitting a half-century for the defending champions.
  • That remains the Sultans’ only win, however, and they go into this match on the back of a three-game losing streak.
  • Islamabad United, on the other hand, have got back to winning ways recently – they have climbed to third in the table with wins in their last two matches.

Islamabad United are winning this game, Multan Sultans are still finding their right combination.

Head to Head:

Multan Sultans’ win earlier in this year’s competition was their first in three previous attempts against Islamabad United, as well as being their only win so far this season.
