Titans are ready to take up CSA T20 Challenge

The Titans (known as the Multiply Titans for sponsorship reasons) is a northern most top-level cricket franchise in South Africa. Its member unions are the Eastern Cricket Union and Northern Cricket Union.

They are being crowned this title for four times includes: 2004–05, 2007–08, 2011-12, and 2015-16.They have won this T20 title most by any other team in competition and they also remained once runner-up. This year they will be defending their championship title this year, with a very strong Twenty20 team. Titans are ready to take up this year’s challenge is another opportunity to make it 5 titles under their belt. They also played twice in Champions League T20.

Titans played very well in their first CLT20 and qualified for the semi-finals, where the Sydney Sixers nailed a win of the last ball in front of a massive crowd at Super Sport Park, Centurion. In the 2013 edition, they played well in the group stage, winning 2 matches and facing defeat in 2, but failed to qualify at the expense of T&T and the Chennai Super Kings. Now CLT20 is halted due to business or lesser interest of crowds during tournament.
