India’s squads for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022, Australia & South Africa T20Is announced

Team India for ICC T20 World Cup 2022

BCCI announced the teams for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 today, along with the T20 World Cup team. They have announced teams for Australia and South Africa T20Is series.

South Africa and Australia are visiting India for the limited-overs series, more about these series are the preparations for the mega event happening in October in Australia.

India squad for ICC T20 World Cup 2022: 

Rohit Sharma (Captain), KL Rahul (vice-captain), Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda, Rishabh Pant (wicket-keeper), Dinesh Karthik (wicket-keeper), Hardik Pandya, R. Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal, Axar Patel, Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Harshal Patel, Arshdeep Singh.

Standby players – Mohd. Shami, Shreyas Iyer, Ravi Bishnoi, Deepak Chahar.

ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 is all set to begin on October 16, however, India will begin their journey on the 23rd against arch-rivals Pakistan.

India Squad for Australia T20Is:

Australia is set to tour India for a 3-match T20 Internationals Series. The first T20I will be played on the 20th of September, the Second on the 23, and the Final game to be played on the 25.

India squad for South Africa T20Is: 

Rohit Sharma (Captain), KL Rahul (vice-captain), Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda, Rishabh Pant (wicket-keeper), Dinesh Karthik (wicket-keeper), R. Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal, Axar Patel, Arshdeep Singh, Mohd. Shami, Harshal Patel, Deepak Chahar, Jasprit Bumrah.

India vs South Africa limited-overs series will kick off on 28th September at Thiruvananthapuram. The second and Third T20Is are to be played at Guwahati (2nd October) and Indore (4th October) respectively.
