Top 5 underrated cricketers to hit six sixes in an over

The act of hitting six sixes in an over is a rare and impressive feat in the game of cricket. It requires not only power and precision but also the ability to read the bowler’s intentions and make quick decisions at the crease. Only a handful of players have achieved this accomplishment, making them memorable figures in the sport.

Hitting six sixes in an over can also be a game-changing moment, as it allows the batsman to score a significant number of runs in a short period of time. This can shift the momentum of the match and put pressure on the opposing team. It is no wonder that fans and players alike get excited when they see a batsman hit six sixes in an over.

While players like Yuvraj Singh are well-known for smashing six sixes in an over, there is still a list of underrated players whose records for scoring 36 or more runs in an over is not known to many. Let’s take a look at them.

After hitting the first five balls for six, a fielder dropped the ball, allowing it to cross the boundary for an additional six. Prior to Sobers’ feat, the record for the most runs scored in an over belonged to Ted Allston, who had scored 34 runs in 6 balls. His record lasted for 16 years.
