Unsung Heroes

Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Ramiz Raja appreciated the efforts of club cricket owners by calling them “UNSUNG HEROES” and promised to support them across Pakistan. The newly elected chairman met the cricket club’s owners, falling under the umbrella of the Central Punjab cricket association at the national high-performance center (NHPC) to share his vision for reviving grassroots cricket.

Ramiz Raja said: “Our national team will become through your efforts,” he said. so your success is my success.” The PCB chairman promises to provide the basic requirements of club level Equipment and he strongly believes if things got better at the basic level then there will be a change at upper-level cricket

The chairman further said it is necessary for the coaches at the club level to give complete guidance to the players

“Your role is of the parents, give a good environment to the players and make efforts to fulfill their dreams. Your steps will shape society and players will be totally different. There should be no compromise on merit and our system should look after the players. PCB will provide you both financial and technical support”,

The club owner’s foremost priority should be providing quality pitches and matches to the young cricketers. The board will hunt talent programs for the sake of this purpose too
