Trinbago Knight Riders Reload with Experience and Firepower for CPL 2025

Trinbago Knight Riders Assemble Championship-Caliber Squad for CPL 2025

As anticipation builds for the 2025 Caribbean Premier League (CPL), the Trinbago Knight Riders have unveiled a squad that screams experience, power, and proven success. Staying true to their roots while embracing international firepower, TKR has positioned itself once again as a top contender for this year’s title.

The franchise has retained its Trinidadian core, a key reason behind its past success. Kieron Pollard, Nicholas Pooran, and Sunil Narine headline the returning contingent, all bringing a wealth of experience, leadership, and match-winning ability.

Russell, Hales, and Amir Headline Star Inclusions

The Knight Riders have taken their game up a notch with the acquisition of Andre Russell, one of the most destructive T20 all-rounders globally. His inclusion gives the team explosive depth, particularly in the death overs—both with bat and ball.

In a marquee overseas signing, Alex Hales, fresh off an ICC T20 World Cup-winning campaign, adds further punch to the top order. Known for his power hitting and aggressive starts, Hales is expected to light up Caribbean venues this season.

Adding to their bowling arsenal is Mohammad Amir, a name synonymous with consistency in the CPL. With pace, control, and a proven track record, he bolsters a pace attack that already features Ali Khan and local ace Akeal Hosein.

Munro Returns, Bravo Reunites

The franchise also welcomes back Colin Munro, the most prolific overseas run-scorer in CPL history and a four-time champion with TKR. Alongside him, Darren Bravo returns, bringing left-handed elegance and deep familiarity with the Knight Riders setup.

The squad is rounded out with exciting names like Usman Tariq, Keacy Carty, Yannic Cariah, and Joshua Da Silva, creating a balanced mix of youth, experience, and flair.
