The much-anticipated Asia Cup 2025 schedule has officially been revealed, with the UAE confirmed as host for the prestigious men’s T20 tournament. Scheduled from 9 to 28 September 2025, the event will unite eight of Asia’s strongest cricketing nations in what is set to be a landmark edition of the ACC’s marquee tournament.
This year’s Asia Cup 2025 schedule marks a significant expansion from the previous format, now featuring eight participating nations instead of six. Group A includes India, Pakistan, UAE, and Oman, while Group B consists of Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Hong Kong, a reflection of Asian cricket’s growing reach. The tournament will begin on 9 September with a Group B face-off between Afghanistan and Hong Kong.
The most eagerly awaited fixture of the group stage, the India vs Pakistan showdown, is locked in for 14 September, a date cricket lovers have already circled in bold.
Asia Cup 2025 Schedule Gets Bigger, Better, Bolder
ACC President Mohsin Naqvi expressed immense pride in the tournament’s evolution. “Hosting the ACC Men’s T20 Asia Cup 2025 in the UAE allows fans across the region to come together in an inclusive environment. With eight teams, we’re not just celebrating cricket, we’re expanding its footprint,” he stated.
The UAE, known for its world-class infrastructure and cricket-loving crowd, offers a neutral venue that’s perfectly suited to high-voltage clashes. The tournament format includes a group stage followed by the Super Four round, with the final scheduled for 28 September.
The updated Asia Cup 2025 schedule promises to deliver thrilling moments, especially with fixtures like India vs UAE (10 Sep), Pakistan vs Oman (12 Sep), and Sri Lanka vs Afghanistan (18 Sep) sure to attract massive viewership.
