Cricket fans are in for a nostalgic treat as former India chief selector Chetan Sharma gears up to launch the much-anticipated Asian Legends League (ALL T20). The five-team tournament, featuring some of Asia’s finest retired cricketers, is set to take place from March 10 to March 18 at the Miraj International Cricket Stadium in Nathdwara, Rajasthan.

The league will bring together cricketing icons from across the continent, with teams representing India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and a combined Asian Stars XI. With intense country-versus-country battles, fans can expect a thrilling spectacle of high-energy T20 action.

A Platform to Celebrate Cricketing Legends

Speaking about the launch, league commissioner Chetan Sharma emphasized the significance of the tournament in honoring former cricketers:

“The ALL T20 is more than just a cricket league—it’s a celebration of Asia’s cricketing heritage. Fans will get the chance to watch their favorite legends back in action, competing for national pride.”

The tournament aims to provide a global platform for retired cricketers, rekindling their on-field rivalries and engaging fans who have cherished their performances over the years.

Participating Teams & Star-Studded Coaches

The Asian Legends League will feature five teams, each comprising top former players from their respective nations:

  • Indian Royals
  • Sri Lankan Lions
  • Bangladesh Tigers
  • Afghanistan Pathans
  • Rest of Asian Stars

The teams will be selected via a player draft, scheduled to take place in New Delhi on February 15. Only registered players will be eligible for selection.

Adding further star power, Herschelle Gibbs (Bangladesh Tigers), Shivnarine Chanderpaul (Afghanistan Pathans), and Marvan Atapattu (Asian Stars) have been appointed as team coaches, ensuring a blend of experience and strategic expertise.
