ICC Sets Stage for 2025 Asia and EAP World Cup Qualifiers in Fiji and Oman

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially released the full schedule for two major regional T20 World Cup Qualifier events set for the second half of 2025, spotlighting the growing strength of associate cricket worldwide.

In a landmark moment, Suva, Fiji will host the largest-ever ICC Women’s T20 World Cup East Asia-Pacific (EAP) Qualifier from 9–15 September, featuring eight nations. Later, Oman will stage the combined ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Asia & EAP Qualifier from 8–17 October, with nine teams competing for three World Cup spots.

This event will also mark the Philippines’ debut in an ICC women’s pathway competition. Fiji Cricket CEO Sitiveni Rokoro praised the milestone, calling it “a proud moment for regional cricket and women’s sports.”
