The Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2025 squads have officially been unveiled following the completion of the player draft. While international talent from across the globe fills the rosters, Pakistan will once again be represented in the Caribbean’s biggest T20 carnival, with multiple Pakistani players confirmed across three different franchises for CPL 2025.
Pakistani Players Set to Shine in CPL 2025
Trinbago Knight Riders Welcome Amir and Usman
The Trinbago Knight Riders, one of the most successful sides in CPL history, will feature two Pakistani players in their 2025 campaign, experienced left-arm pacer Mohammad Amir and emerging bowling talent Usman Tariq. Amir’s return brings proven CPL pedigree and big-match experience, having previously delivered match-winning spells for the franchise.
His compatriot, Usman Tariq, adds depth to Trinbago’s bowling unit and will be looking to make his mark in the shortest format with his raw pace and wicket-taking abilities. Their presence complements an already powerful squad featuring Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Nicholas Pooran, and Alex Hales.
Mohammad Nawaz Joins St Kitts & Nevis Patriots
All-rounder Mohammad Nawaz has been signed by the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots, adding balance with his left-arm spin and lower-order hitting. Nawaz is known for maintaining control in the middle overs and is capable of changing games with both bat and ball. His inclusion bolsters a Patriots side also featuring Jason Holder, Kyle Mayers, and Rilee Rossouw.
Imad Wasim to Anchor Falcons’ Spin Department
Veteran all-rounder Imad Wasim will be turning out for the newly formed Antigua & Barbuda Falcons, who have assembled a strong and varied bowling attack for their debut season. With Shakib Al Hasan, Naveen-ul-Haq, and Obed McCoy in their lineup, Imad’s ability to open the bowling and chip in with quick runs will be a critical asset.
USA-Pakistani Hassan Khan Joins Guyana
Also joining the CPL 2025 from the Pakistani diaspora is Mohammad Hassan Khan, a USA international born in Karachi. The 26-year-old left-arm spinner has been picked by the Guyana Amazon Warriors, where he adds depth to an already potent spin attack.
