Misbahul Haq steps down as Pakistan’s chief selector

Misbahul Haq has resigned as the Pakistan men’s team chief selector. The former captain will continue working as the national team’s head coach.

He is likely to announce this decision in a press conference at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore today.

Former captain will continue as the national team’s head coach, he joined as a dual role. The first time in the history of Pakistan Cricket an official hold dual role as a chief selector and as a head coach.

Before Misbah Ul Haq, team’s coach was Mickey Arthur, who was removed after the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.
