SA20 Season 4 to Deliver Holiday Cheer with Exciting T20 Fixtures Across South Africa

South Africa’s elite franchise cricket league, SA20, is set to dazzle fans during the 2025/26 festive season with the unveiling of the Season 4 fixture list, running from 26 December 2025 to 25 January 2026.

The highly anticipated season kicks off on Boxing Day, as reigning champions MI Cape Town take on Durban’s Super Giants at the iconic Newlands Stadium. With a holiday-heavy schedule, the tournament is strategically placed to coincide with South Africa’s school breaks and festive celebrations.

The first double-header is scheduled for 27 December, with Pretoria Capitals vs Joburg Super Kings in Centurion and Paarl Royals vs Sunrisers Eastern Cape at Boland Park. These early fixtures aim to capitalize on the holiday foot traffic across the country.

The New Year celebrations will also feature prominently, with back-to-back games on New Year’s Eve (31 December) and New Year’s Day (1 January), a first for the tournament. The electric atmosphere of St George’s Park and Newlands will host the double-header on 31 December, followed by a heavyweight clash at the Wanderers on 1 January.

SA20 Commissioner Graeme Smith emphasized the league’s goal of blending top-tier cricket with festive vibes. “This season is tailored for families, vacationers, and cricket enthusiasts alike,” said Smith. “Our new dates offer fans the perfect summer entertainment option.”

A highlight of the season includes the Cape Derby on 2 January in Paarl, with both Paarl Royals and MI Cape Town defending perfect home records from last season.

The playoffs begin on 21 January, culminating in the Grand Final on 25 January 2026. Venue details for the playoffs will be announced closer to the dates.

Fans can register for early bird access via the pre-sale window (17 Sep – 9 Oct) to grab the best seats before general ticket sales begin.
