At the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Thursday, Sri Lanka will face India in the Women’s Asia Cup 2022 final after defeating Pakistan by a margin of one run. After 14 years, Sri Lankan women have finally made it to the 2022 Women’s Asia Cup final.

In contrast, India defeated Thailand and advanced to the Women’s Asia Cup final for the eighth time in the competition’s history thanks to a quickfire 42 and a 3-wicket haul from Deepti Sharma.

“Despite significant pressure, we stood with the bowlers. My bowlers could perform a good job, in my opinion. To tweak a few things, we altered the batting order. We are pleased to be in the Asia Cup final after 14 years. They played well for the first six overs, especially the openers. Still, we adhered to our game plan “Chamari Athapaththu, the captain of Sri Lanka, remarked during the post-game awards ceremony.
