THE National T20 cup is moving forward with thrillers as we have witnessed some thrillers, with few games ended as a one-sided encounter.
The tournament witnessed 8 matches so far Northern leading the points table with 6 points. They have won their all every game.
The 2nd place belongs to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as they won two games.
However, Sindh, Balochistan, and Central Punjab are at the 3rd, 4th, and 5th positions respectively with 2 points in their credit.
Southern Punjab is yet to win a game, that means they are at the bottom of the points table.
This tournament has been witnessing some top-class performance from the talented Pakistani cricketers. Seniors are doing well, but the youngsters are making their presence count by giving some extra-ordinary performances. They are enabling their teams to win the games.
Haris Rauf leading the top-wicket taker’s chart with 8 wickets. He delivered some amazing bowling spells for the Northern. Muhammad Musa another youngster is having a dream tournament so far.
Our ace Pakistani fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi also picked up 7 wickets in the tournament so far.
If we are talking about batting Southern’s Sohaib Maqsood is on the top with 146 runs.
Youngster Abdullah Shafique who is representing Central Punjab is claimed 2nd position with 139 runs. Abdullah’s notable performance is when he scored 100 on his T20 debut.
The number 3 position is being booked by Pakistan’s National team Wicketkeeper-batsman, Mohammad Rizwan with 129 runs. He is also leading the KP side in the tournament.
The National T20 Cup 2020 edition is being held in Multan and Rawalpindi. Multan is hosting 13 initial games of the competition till 6th of the October, while Pindi Cricket Stadium will host the later part of the event. The Semi-finals are scheduled to be played on 17th of October, while The Final to be staged on 18th.
