The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is all set to host Afghanistan for a T20I series consisting of three matches. The series will start on 16 February 2023 in Abu Dhabi.

The 3-match T20I series is a part of the agreement signed by the two cricket boards in November 2022 wherein the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) will be offering the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) logistical and infrastructure support for the next five years, including hosting their “home” matches for the period of time. As a result of the agreement signed, Afghanistan committed to playing UAE in the 3-match T20I series annually as long as the deal is active.
