IPL 2023: RCB wins by 112 runs as RR gets all-out in 59 runs

The 60th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) concluded with RCB finding a 112 runs win over RR as RR got all-out for 59 runs.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) won the toss and elected to bat first in the match against Rajasthan Royals (RR).

Batting first, RCB made a total of 171 runs for the loss of five wickets with Faf du Plessis playing the highest knock for the team as a batter with 55 runs in 44 deliveries followed by Glenn Maxwell with a 33-ball 54 runs.

Adam Zampa and KM Asif took two wickets each for RR in the match with Sandeep Sharma taking a wicket. RR conceded five extras to RCB while bowling.

RR got all-out for 59 runs in 10.3 overs while chasing the target. Shimron Hetmyer was the top run-scorer for the team in the match who played a 19-ball 35 runs innings followed by the only other batter to score in double digits in the match from the team, Joe Root, with 10 runs in 15 deliveries.

Wayne Parnell took three wickets for RCB in the match with Michael Bracewell and Karn Sharma taking two wickets each. Mohammed Siraj and Glenn Maxwell took a wicket each to join the wicket-taking party. RCB conceded three extras to RR while bowling.

RCB won the match by 112 runs.
