Nepal Women Tour of Malaysia: Malaysia levels the series 2-2

The fourth match of the Nepal Women Tour of Malaysia concluded with Malaysia Women taking a four-wicket win over Nepal Women in the thrilling match that went all the way to the last ball of the second inning of the match.

Nepal Women had won the toss and elected to bat first in the match.

Batting first, Nepal Women made 96 runs for the loss of seven wickets to set the target of 97 runs to Malaysia Women in the match played today. Indu Barma played the highest knock for Nepal Women with 32 runs in 31 deliveries followed by Bindu Rawal with 24 runs in 26 deliveries.

Winifred Duraisingam took three wickets for Malaysia Women in the match with Mahirah Izzati Ismail and Aisya Eleesa taking a wicket each. Malaysia Women conceded eight extras to Nepal Women while bowling in the match.

Malaysia Women made 97 runs for the loss of six wickets in the second inning of the match and won the match by four wickets in the last ball of the inning. Winifred Duraisingam made the most 38 runs in 52 deliveries for Malaysia Women in the match followed by Mahirah Izzati Ismail with 16 runs in 26 deliveries.

Kabita Kunwar, Rubina Chhetry, Sita Rana Magar and Kabita Joshi took a wicket each for Nepal Women in the match. Nepal Women conceded nineteen extras to Malaysia Women while bowling in the match.

Malaysia Women won the match by four wickets and level the series 2-2. The last match of the series will be played tomorrow 4 June 2023 and the match will be the series decider.
