The Trinbago Knight Riders defeated the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots by six wickets in the CPL 2023.

The Knight Riders won the toss and chose to field first. Dwayne Bravo and Sunil Narine took early wickets to reduce the Patriots to 45/2 in the first four overs. Sherfane Rutherford and Corbin Bosch then put on a 66-run partnership to take the Patriots to 178/5.

The Knight Riders lost early wickets in their chase, but Nicholas Pooran scored 61 runs to help them to victory. Kieron Pollard also played a key innings, scoring 37 runs off 16 balls.

The Knight Riders were awarded a red card for three over-rate penalties, meaning they had to play the final over with 10 players on the field. However, this did not affect their victory.

The Knight Riders are now level on points with the Barbados Royals at the CPL table. They will next face the Barbados Royals on August 30.
