Trinbago Knight Riders played really well in their recent match against Jamaica Tallawahs. They chased down the target of 151 with 16 balls to spare.

Narine started the innings with a bang, scoring 15 runs off 6 balls. He hit three boundaries before being dismissed by Imad Wasim. Guptill and Pooran then took over and built a solid partnership of 80 runs. Pooran scored a quickfire fifty, while Guptill played the anchor role.

Imad Wasim broke the partnership by dismissing Pooran, but Pollard and Russell then took the attack to the Tallawahs bowlers. They scored 56 runs off the last four overs, including three sixes from Russell in the Imad’s over.

Earlier, Jamaica Tallawahs were struggling at 45 for 2 in the Powerplay. But Imad Wasim played a brilliant knock, scoring 62 runs off 33 balls. He hit three sixes and six fours in his innings. However, the rest of the Tallawahs batsmen failed to contribute much, and they were able to score 154 in their 20 overs.

This win has helped Trinbago Knight Riders move to the top of the table. They have 11 points from six matches, and they are two points ahead of the second-placed Guyana Amazon Warriors. The Tallawahs, on the other hand, have lost four matches in a row and are now in fifth place. They need to win their remaining matches to keep their hopes of qualifying for the playoffs alive.
