Bangladesh Bangladesh Premier League Match Reports

Comilla Victorians and Rangpur Riders both won convincingly in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).

The 35th and 36th matches of the BPL featured today conclude between Chattogram Challengers vs. Comilla Victorians and Rangpur Riders vs. Sylhet Strikers. The Comilla Victorians and Rangpur Riders won their respective matches in the 35th and 36th matches of the BPL.

The first match of the day was played at the Sher-E-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur and featured the Chattogram Challengers against the Comilla Victorians . The Chattogram Challengers won the toss and elected to bat first.

In the first match of the day, the Chattogram Challengers managed to score 156 runs in their 20 overs while batting first. Afif Hossain 66(49) was the top run contributor for the team.In an important encounter, the Comilla Victorians ultimately came out on top, securing a victory.

Tanvir Islam and Hasan Ali took 2 wickets while Shykat Ali took 1 wicket for the Comilla Victorians. Mohammad Rizwan made 61 runs off 47 balls.

The Victorians scored 157/4 in 19 overs and won the game by 6 wickets.

Ziaur Rahman and Mrittunjoy Chowdhury took 2 wicket each for the Chattogram Challengers. Mohammad Rizwan was named Player of the Match for his 61 of 47 contribution for his team.

In the second match, Rangpur Riders vs. Sylhet Strikers faced off at the Sher-E-Bangla National Cricket Stadium Mirpur, with Rangpur Riders winning the toss and electing to bowl first.

Sylhet Strikers managed to post a total of 170/2 at the end of their 20 overs, with Towhid Hridoy  and Mushfiqur Rahim scoring 85 (57), and 55 (35), respectively. Hasan Mahmud and Mahedi Hasan took 1 wicket each for the Rangpur Riders.

In reply, the Rangpur Riders chase a target. Riders able to scored 176/2 in 18 overs and won the game by 8 wickets. Rony Talukdar made 66 runs off 35 balls for the Rangpur Riders.
